About the artist
I started playing piano when I was twelve years old when I inherited an old upright piano. At 14 years old I bought my first piano which I still have today. During High School I played in a rock band. When I graduated from high school I was accepted into The Ohio State
Music School program. I attended there for two years and then moved to Santa Barbara, California. My music was played on a local radio station. After about a year, I returned home to Ohio where I performed in churches and on a local television station.
Years went by when a friend of mine said I should record my piano music. She said I was “losing the music.” I bought a 2600k Kurzweil a 32 track recorder where I wrote and produced all the music on the CD Imagine. I then had the CD mixed at Sweetwater Sound.
I had the music copyrighted through the library of congress. I then became a member of CD baby where they distribute the music to most all platforms and collect the royalties. My music from the CD Imagine streams and sells all over the world!
When I returned home from California, I got married and raised a couple of kids. I had to get a sales job to support my family and my music went on the back burner. I still played the piano everyday though.
To Further my education, I returned to The Ohio State University and finished my Associate of Arts Degree. I then went to Bluffton College and received a BA Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. Many years later I was working with teenagers at a local church and I became very involved in counseling. I then returned to The Ohio State University and received an MSW Masters Of Social Work degree with a concentration in counseling. I do some life coaching on the side while still pursuing my music.
I am so thankful for all that listen to and appreciate my music. I hope you continue to listen and enjoy it. Thanks for being a fan!
